AAP Certification

Let WesPay help you move your career to the next level!

The NACHA Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification program affirms professional competence and subject area expertise for practitioners of Automated Clearing House payments. The program establishes a professional standard based on best practices and recognized processes and procedures developed by NACHA and the Regional Payments Associations.

Financial Institution examiners and other users of the ACH Network accept the AAP credential as a mark identifying individuals who are highly skilled and serious about their profession. Professional accreditation like the AAP can enhance career advancement.

Becoming an AAP will help you understand the ACH rules, protect your institution from liability, and develop marketing strategies and appropriate sales techniques for ACH services. Understanding risk issues, preventing fraud and loss, using ACH return reason codes appropriately, and understanding statement reporting requirements are all part of managing an effective ACH business.
