WesPay Emerging Leaders in Payments Program

WesPay encourages young professionals to aspire to a career in payments. The Emerging Leaders in Payments Program has been developed to give back to our members by providing a career-developing opportunity to the next generation of payments leaders, leveraging the extensive management and payments expertise of the WesPay leadership team.

One applicant will be chosen each year to participate in the program. The program will be customized for each applicant through consultation with their manager.

2018-2019 applications due by June 30, 2018.

Time Commitment

The actual time commitment is customized to meet the needs of the participant and will vary.

Program Value

Generally, the program can be valued at $3,000-$6,000 depending on travel costs and the education options chosen.

Customized Scalable Project

Participants have an option to work on a business project related to their position within their organization. The WesPay mentor will work with the participant’s manager to determine what would be appropriate.

Ambassador Program

Following the completion of the Emerging Leaders in Payments Program, the participant will continue to hone and use their new leadership skills by assisting with ELP Program communications throughout the next year, including providing quotes to promote the program. The participant may also choose to serve on the Member Advisory Council for a minimum of one year to further develop their leadership skills.
