What is an RPA?
Regional Payments Associations provide ACH information and resources to financial institutions, corporations, e-commerce companies, and payments technology providers around the country. There are 17 Regional Payments Associations and, in most cases, they are not-for-profit trade associations. As Direct Members of NACHA, Regional Payments Associations shape the ACH Network and the NACHA Operating Rules by participating in the NACHA Rule Making Process and voting on Rules ballots, and by participating in and leading NACHA Councils, committees, and initiatives. Through membership in Regional Payments Associations, banks and credit unions contribute to the development and future of the ACH Network.
What is NACHA?
NACHA supports the growth of the ACH Network by managing its development, administration, and governance. NACHA represents nearly 11,000 financial institutions through the 17 Regional Payments Associations and direct membership. Through its industry councils and forums, NACHA brings together payments system stakeholder organizations to encourage the efficient utilization of the ACH Network and develop new ways to use the Network to benefit its diverse set of participants.
Who are our members?
WesPay is a membership-based association for individuals and companies that use electronic payments. Our membership is made up of over 1000 member financial institutions and over 100 associate member corporations, servicing the Western United States and Pacific territories.
What regions do we cover?
Our service area is home to 20 percent of the nation’s population and a corresponding volume of payments covering seven Western states and Pacific territories: California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Alaska, Utah, Washington, as well as American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

WesPay is dedicated to promoting the growth and best use of electronic payments through education, information exchange and advocacy to our members. WesPay is here to be your partner — delivering resources and support, and serving as your voice in industry-wide rules and regulations negotiations.
What services do we provide?
WesPay provides NACHA Operating Rules guidance and operational support, ongoing education and training, audit services, marketing tools and guidance, publication sales, and more. WesPay also acts as advocates of the ACH Network to local and state government.
