Treasury Management Series (Three-Part Series)

A successful relationship between a financial institution and a corporate customer goes well beyond loans and deposits. Payments and treasury management services can be instrumental in creating a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship for both parties. In this series, we will discuss the principles in developing these relationships and building successful partnerships for the long haul.
The sessions include:
  • Building Successful Treasury Management Solutions for Your Clients:
Offering treasury management services can help meet the needs of your commercial clients, attract new business opportunities and create non-interest income for your institution. What treasury management solutions do your customers’ demand? And, how can you stay abreast of changing expectations and the fast-moving payments industry to continually service your business portfolio? Learn how to build a treasury management offering that will meet the needs of your client base.
  • Developing Winning Payment Relationships:
A successful treasury management relationship between a financial institution and a corporate customer is more than just ACH Origination, Wires Transfers and Remote Deposit Capture. Tools are readily available to help your customers’ fight fraud, effectively manage their payables and receivables, and access information needed to make day-to-day cash decisions. Learn how to promote and sell the treasury services your clients need to be successful and get the most out of their relationship with your financial institutions.
  • Creating Open Communications Between Departments:
Do you understand the role that each department within your financial institution plays in getting a service like ACH Origination in the hands of an Originator? Successful communications between different departments is vital to your success. Although they may be called different things at different institutions, we will discuss the roles of Relationship Managers, Product Managers, Treasury Management staff, Compliance Managers and Operations, and the role each plays in the creation of a successful payments program.
