The Future of the ACH Network
WesPay is pleased to announce its first Hawaii Roundtable Discussion. These will be opportunities for members to meet with thought-leaders on an informal basis to discuss critical issues facing U.S. payments systems. Unlike WesPay Workshops that are classroom-style lectures, Hawaii Roundtable Discussions are informal conversations that allow financial institutions to better understand the future direction of payments and implications on your client/member services, operational procedures, risk management and staffing requirements.
Topic: The ACH Network has advanced from a two-day settlement cycle to multiple same-day settlement cycles. So what’s next? A Request for Proposal from NACHA indicates that additional same-day settlement cycles are being planned later in the business day, bringing significant benefits for WesPay’s members in the Western U.S. WesPay expects this issue will result in a NACHA Rules Change ballot in the summer of 2018. What opportunities and challenges will later Same Day settlement windows bring to FIs in Hawaii? How will this impact your people, processes and vendor relationships? Planning for significant changes requires forethought and insights. This is a valuable opportunity to learn from organizations that have been engaged with the pending changes and are planning for the continued evolution of the ACH Network.
